Hotel was not as pictured. Wallpaper torn off walls. Room pictures must have been taken at a wierd angle because rooms are SMALL. Not very clean. Staff was nice - conceirge was FANTASTIC , but is not a hotel employee, so.... Location is pretty good - Parking was $/day and there is really no other places to park. All in all not a 3 star hotel more like a 1 1/2 or 2 at best!

Good Value for the Money

Overall, the rooms were a reasonably good deal for the money. Nothing spectacular, but clean with small balconies too. Our bathrooms were a little small, but manageable. My kids really liked the large new televisions in the rooms. The pool was fine and the front desk staff were friendly. Some of the elevators are slow, but we expected that ahead of time so it wasn't a problem. Garage parking is pricey and very cramped, ascending in a tight spiral that is frankly scary at times. Better options are available nearby. Breakfast is a little disappointing - a few pastries and some fruit. This location is not next to the "central" Waikiki area (marketplace) but it is conveniently located by the Hilton Hawaiian village and the beach. Plus there are other good shops nearby. Definitely watch closely as you can easily miss the turn-in for this location. Overall, I was happy with my stay and would stay there again.

We spent two weeks at the Aqua Palm while getting our daughter settled in at the University of Hawaii. For the price it can't be beat. Comfortable rooms, close to the beach and some great restaurants -- a couple of which offer discounts to Aqua Palms guests. The staff was welcoming and courteous, the facility is attractive and well maintained. The only draw back we found was a parking fee of $* per night for the hotel garage -- but we quickly discovered less expensive parking at the garage in Ft. DeRussy Park just across the street. We look forward to returning to the Aqua Palms and Spa.

The hotel is located in the better area of Waikiki right across the street from the Hilton Hawaiian village.The staff was very friendly & helpful, the room were recently remodeled, It is one of the only hotels with breakfast included in the area.I would stay there again.
