great location! lots of places nearby, beach is walking distance, mall is walking distance, bus stop right outside.. what more is there to say? the staff was wonderful. the housekeeper i had, francesca, did a wonderful job with the room. when it was time to check out, they held our luggage for us because our flight wasnt until later that night, and after picking it up, the guy informed us that the bus might not allow us to bring luggage on, so he let us know that there is a shuttle they provide that can take us to the airport. the room was not huge, but it was good enough to sleep in and store our luggage. i mean, who wants a huge hotel room if you're out most of the day, right? there is no free breakfast, but there's an ihop right next door. there is a pool, but its only up to 4 ft. and theres a tiny gym also. the only bad thing about this hotel, which is probably our bad timing, was the construction right outside, and that you have to pay $20 a night for parking. other than that, i would definitely stay here again!

When I made the reservations I was hesitant at first to go with a "boutique" hotel, but the decor and room design made you feel like you were staying in a much more expensive hotel. The only gripe I had was that there wasn't enough staff at the front desk when I checked in. I stood there for nearly 30 minutes before someone helped me. Also, use of the computer in the lobby business office had a cost when all I wanted to do was print my boarding pass. Usually hotels do that for free. The room was spacious and comfy and decorated very nicely. It was also close to the beach, shopping, and entertainment. I would definitely stay here again :-)

I have stayed at the Aqua Palms and have enjoyed each trip. It is close to shopping, restaurants and the beach. Nice area, but being on Ala moana it is a little noisey. I tend to prefer the "city view" as it is off the street and quite a bit quieter. I have always had real good service from all the staff.
