Me and my girlfriend were looking for a getaway for the weekend. We both work long hours, so we wanted to stay near Waikiki. We both enjoyed our stay it was cozy, near places to eat even Ala Moana is close by. We enjoyed the pool and had a vary relaxing time during our stay. Check in and checkout was super quick. I highly recommend staying here to anyone looking for a short getaway.

My roommate and I stayed at aqua palms for one month because she had to do some work in Honolulu. The staff were nice for the most part. Elevators were horribly slow. No jacuzzi, which would have been nice in the evenings. We did have one incident where my roommates swimsuit top was taken from our room. It was hung on the back of the bathroom door and a towel was over it. A sign in the bathroom said they would not take towels that were hanging, only those that were on the floor. That said, the towel and the suit were gone after room service one day. This was early in our trip and we reported it immediately. Nothing was done about it. Every time I asked about it for the next three weeks all that was said is that they had a note in the computer?? They never called or tried to make it right. When we checked out 3 weeks later my roommate asked to speak to a manager about it. He was very rude to her and basically accused her of lying. He said the only thing she could do was to file a police report. There was no apology offered or an attempt to make things right. This left us with a bad taste for this place. It was ok for the money. About 5-10 min walk from the beach. No wi-fi except for in the lobby. Internet plug-in in the room, but ours was broken and fell out of my laptop every time I moved. Beds and pillows were not comfortable!! The doors slam very loud and were startled awake many times when neighbors would come back...sometimes multiple times per evening.
