1st thing i notice was the cleanliness. 2nd was the place . its very near to evrything you wanna go but its kinda hard to find it. but overall is very nice except the elevator we took like almost 15 mins to wait our turn. but i would love to come back and recommend this hotel to my family.

Booked 2 rooms here for May 9-16, 2012. 1 room for my girlfriend and myself and 1 room for my parents. Booked based on value, location and reviews. The bed is very comfortable, especially compared to most hotel rooms. The lobby is small, but sufficient. 3 elevators help, but they are still abit slow as seem to be all Waikiki hotels. Parking is easy, once you figure out how to get in the deck. It is a tight squeeze with a full size sedan, but I liked that it was self parking @ $20 per day vs. forced valet @ $40-50 a day like many other hotels. Best part of this hotel is location. Right across the street from the Hilton resort. All you have to do is walk across the street to use all their amenities (restaurants, shops, beach access, tour pick ups, etc.). Getting to the beach is quick and easy through the Hilton as well, though I suggest you do a quick walk through to find the shortest route. Took us a few times! My only complaint is that I booked 2 of the same rooms and my parents got a lanai and I didn't. I still had the diamond head view, just no lanai. However, I was comfortable enough in the room (and didn't realize the difference until a few days in) that I never got a round to bringing it to the attention of the front desk. All interactions with the staff were very pleasant.

My family stayed here for a month while waiting for housing after moving to Hawaii with the military. We chose to stay here because they had a room with full kitchen available. Unfortunately, the housekeeping was absolutely terrible. The kitchen did not come with liquid to wash the dishes by hand or in the dishwasher. We bought some of our own. When housekeeping did clean the dishes, they did so with a cleaning solution that they used on everything else and the dishes were still gross. Additionally, my young sons had a few accidents in the bed. Once, my eldest wet the bed and the housekeeping lady made the soaking wet bed rather than change the sheets. Once again, my youngest son threw up in the bed and the housekeeper made that bed too! I was shocked. When I asked if they could just change the sheets everyday (since they obviously couldn't tell when it needed changed), they told me I would have to pay for that. So, I just stripped the bed completely on the days we had sheet problems and threw them in the floor to ensure the bed sheets were changed. Lastly, they NEVER mopped, not one time. They also rarely cleaned the toilet, so after a month, the bathroom was smelling pretty terrible. You know, four year old little boys don't always keep it in the toilet :( Overall, the stay was ok. The hotel decorations were rather plain but the price and location were not bad. The pool was just ok and the exercise room had a wobbly treadmill and an elliptical that was broken. Even with this, I would have recommended the hotel if it had not been for the housekeeping. When I did request new sheets, they just brought them to me so that I could make them myself!! This is just unacceptable.
