This motel is on the very edge of town just off the freeway ramp. Rooms are older, but clean and spacious, and the beds comfortable. We stayed 2 nights; maid service only emptied waste baskets and left clean towels and did not make the beds nor clean the bathroom after our first night. Room key did not work when we returned at 9:00 pm and no one was in the office to let us in even though the sign indicated it was open. I waited 10-15 minutes before someone finally showed up after ringing the bell repeatedly. Freeway noise was noticeable, as was noise from upper rooms. Pool was closed down, but pools in other motels were open and in use. No microwaves in rooms as advertised, but one was available for use in the hospitality room next to the office along with a toaster and hot coffee. I didn't see an iron or ironing board. No breakfast was available and a posted note read that it was not being served due to slow business. Room rate remained the same with no discounts applied for AARP, AAA, etc. There is a grocery store next door, but you have to drive several miles for restaurants. The room was ok, and the price great, but we were disappointed with the service and probably won't stay there again. It did look to be in somewhat better condition than other motels in town offering the same rate.

Where do I start? I reserved a room with 2 queen beds and a microwave. I received a room with 2 DOUBLE beds and no microwave. The Internet did not work. The TV did not work. The bath towels were thread bare and tiny. The bath towel looked more like a hand towel than a bath towel. It looked like something I would use to dry my car off with after washing it, only a lot rougher in texture. The bed spreads were dirty and there were cigarette burns (in our non-smoking room) on our linens. The linens themselves, while they seemed clean enough, were scratchy. The room stunk of a heavy cleaner smell. If it hadn't of been 90+ degrees outside I would have opened the window and door to air it out. The a/c unit was a wall unit and was very loud. The sink and tub both had very slow drains and the tub had a leak that went all over the floor of the bathroom. The tub had soap scum or some kind of slippery residue on the edges. Our feet turned black from walking on the carpet so I assume it was filthy. The one redeeming thing (if you can say that) is they allowed pets. After our stay in this room, I didn't want to wait and see what would be served for breakfast. For $(including a pet fee), we got a semi-clean old smelly room. If I had known the true state of this motel before I made the reservation, I would have stayed in Bullhead City or even Kingman as the good reviews seem to be misleading.

We stayed here one night of a cross-country road trip. It was clean and the shower had adequate water pressure. The beds were decent enough, and I definitely felt safe there. The clerk was exceptionally friendly, although I suspect he purposely overcharged us. I will say that the breakfast left a LOT to be desired, especially for someone with a gluten intolerance.
