Three woman from Canada stayed here in March and found this to be an outstanding hotel. It is charming, extremely clean and welcoming. Location is walking distance to everything. Staff were friendly and accomodating; we needed a room change and were given a suite. The breakfast was very good although busy. We will highly recommend this hotel to all who travel to N.O. and hope to return.......

Three woman from Canada stayed here in March and found this to be an outstanding hotel. It is charming, extremely clean and welcoming. Location is walking distance to everything. Staff were friendly and accomodating; we needed a room change and were given a suite. The breakfast was very good although busy. We will highly recommend this hotel to all who travel to N.O. and hope to return.......

Breakfast was great. Waffles, hot chocolate and bagels were our favorites. Fresh sugar cookies at front desk was a nice touch (especially with 24 hour hot chocolate, coffee and milk). Pool was tiny, but nice. Rooms were clean and outdoor area very relaxing. Bar was small but offered a few food items and many drink choices. Walking distance to french quarter, harrah's, acquarium, and riverwalk. First floor room faced a parking lot so we kept the curtains closed, but had very high ceilings so we did not feel cramped. Free internet was nice, both wireless and provided ethernet cable. Exercise room had a few cardio machines. Highly recommend this hotel and will stay here again when in New Orleans.

The only things we didn't particularly like were the lack of an airport shuttle(it cost us $70 extra to get back and forth), and the climate control of our room. We had our thermostat set at what should have made the room like a freezer, and it was still warm. Overall the hotel was clean, attractive and the service was good.

Friendly and helpful staff, clean and comfortable rooms, cool architecture, free breakfast, free cookies ... really, how could it be any better? If you are looking for something right in the middle of the French Quarter, this is actually a couple blocks away, but we really liked that we were not in the middle of everything because it was quiet at night! Would definitely stay here again.
