Our stay at the Country Inn and Suites was great! Our room was not ready when we arrived(we were early) but the staff was very helpful in assisting us storing our luggage and telling us when we could expect the room to be ready. Everyone was so friendly regardless of the time of day or night that we passed by the front desk and all of the staff members we met were the same way. The hotel is in a oerfect location and we walked all over the city from there. We loved the fact that it was a converted warehouse, we've stayed in several Country Inn and Suites before and have always had a positive experience but this was the best by far. Didn't look like a typical chain hotel and we were happy with that. The breakfast was fine and the courtyard is an enjoyable place to eat. We stayed for 4 nights and had a very positive experience. We did use the valet parking which was pricey but had unlimited in and out service unlike the cheaper lot up the street. We would definitely stay here again.....

The hotel was perfect, everthing was clean, staff very helpful, and everything is within walking distance, French Quarter, trolley and the Riverfront. The breakfast was wonderful, buffet had everthing, eggs, sausage, french toast, belgin waffels, etc. We would stay again. Only draw back is the noise from the trash trucks at 330am in the alley, if your room is in the back.A must is try a Swamp Water at the bar, it's very tasty. Stayed 5-7-2010 to 5-20-2010.

This hotel was very close to the French Quarter, had friendly staff, clean accomodation, and continental breakfast. One of the rooms we reserved was unavailable and they downsized us to a room with one bed instead of two. This meant our child slept on the floor. The two rooms were quite small with a small window (unlike the photos provided). The hotel was nicely decorated and had a lovely outdoor courtyard/pool area. Being that it is in the downtown area, the price for what we received was appropriate.

We checked in very late (about 1 a.m.). We got a room in the back. I am a light sleeper and got woken up twice in the middle of the night by what sounded like trash trucks. The next day, we asked for a room change, towards the front of the hotel. We were told we could pack our bags, have them put in storage, and a new room would be ready by 4. The room we moved into was bigger, so probably more expensive, but maybe the hotel wasn't full, so they were able to upgrade us. The beds were comfortable. The room we slept in the first night smelled funny (like foot odor), but the second one smelled fine. The pool was tiny, but it was too cold to swim anyway. The free wi-fi was a plus. The breakfast was included in the price and had a nice variety of food, including a belgian waffle maker, sausages, funny looking sunny side up eggs, and a variety of cold selections (fruit, cereal, hard boiled eggs, pastries). Coffee was available all day, as were fresh baked cookies at the front desk. The hotel is not in the French Quarter, but is within walking distance, which was fine with us, since we were away from the noise at night.

The girls and I stayed at the Country Inn and Suites for the Essence Music Festival and we enjoyed every minute of it. The hotel is beautifully decorated, yet comfy and . Everything you want and everywhere you want to go is within walking distance. The suite rooms and beds are clean and spacious. Not to mention the breakfast, and I mean a real breakfast. No stale pastries and old coffee either. You can make your own waffles, cold and hot cereal, eggs and sausage, toast, english muffins, yogurt, fresh fruit, juice, milk , coffee and tea, and even pastries, if you want to go that route. Save a little money and eat breakfast at the hotel, its worth it. All in all, would definitely stay again, Loved it.
