Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. You could not beat the location. The room was clean, but a bit small. The elevator system for my end of the building was adequate. If you are concern about options on getting out there was no information about stairways on the floor.

This was a really great hotel! The staff were very friendly and professional. Our room was comfortable and clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. The free breakfasts every morning were quite good with a decent selection. The location was a huge bonus! It's right on the edge of the French Quarter as well as the St. Charles street car line. We could walk everywhere we needed without having to go too far from the hotel if we needed to get back to change clothes or rest. The Concierge was very nice and helpful with lots of useful travel information. All in all, I would definitely stay there again!

We were very pleasantly surprised to find that we were in a 2-room suite, with plenty of space to move around. The hotel was two blocks from the French Quarter and only a little more to the river, so we could walk everywhere. The breakfast changed daily but always had plenty of basics and a wide variety - that was also a pleasant surprise - with lots of seating in and outside the buffet area. Staff was friendly and open, and the ambiance of the hotel lobby with the exposed beams and old elevator mechanism was enchanting.

My cousin and I stayed at the Country Inn for 3 nights during the French Quarter Festival. From the moment we walked in the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, we were even given 2 queen beds instead of having to share 1 king size. The location of the hotel was ideal for us. Close enough to all the action, but far enough away that it wasn't loud or dirty. Having free wi-fi was a huge plus! The lobby is very nice and the concierge was helpful giving us coupons to save at various restaurants in the area (make sure to pick one up for Cafe Beignet!) Our room was very nice also, just the right size and quiet at night. The breakfast had more than enough options for me and it was nice that they had a small take-away section with to-go coffee cups, fruit and granola bars. All-in-all our stay at the Country Inn was a nice one. My only complaint is that the elevators were quite slow, but I always seem to be in a rush. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend to a friend.
