It was our first trip to mexico...the hotel was clean. The food was great! Plenty of beach frontage and lounge chairs. I loved the beach beds...They have good security and plenty of activities. The activities lack any morals. There is smut on tv, if that is your thing. We went strictly for the sunshine and always prefer all inclusive! As a married couple of 20 years, we couldn't get a king-sized bed...bummer. Our phone didn't work. I always expect a few things to not go well but I am not use to seeing topless people(and a few men drop their trunks) so I would NOT stay there again. We did meet some pretty normal people by the quiet pool. We chose to stay away fromt he party pool, where the music is always blasting. We went to Jamaica last year and liked everything...we will plan for Jamaica in the future. Lastly, we don't speak spanish so communication with staff was difficult.

Was my second time to Temptations. Remember to bring your own mug or large cup, because while all drinks are included, it's hard to get any bang for your buck with the 7oz glasses they provide. Just like last time, the daytime activities are great, the staff is great... Except this time, my bracelet came off in the pool during the first day. I couldn't find it, so I went up to the front desk (still wrapped in a towel from the pool), to notify them. They were suddenly very UNfriendly, and told me I'd have to pay $50 to get a new one. When I protested, they referred me to the "manager" sitting at a desk nearby. I calmly explained to him what had happened, and he told me I'd have to pay for a new bracelet. Now, we were a group of 4 that had already been forced to pay for a second room since the resort has a policy that prohibits 4 people from using the 2 double beds in each room. I explained to him that since I was already paying for a second room we weren't even going to be using, I really didn't want to pay $50 for a bracelet. He reached behind his back and pulled out a walkie talkie, set it on the desk, and told me that if I didn't pay I would be removed from the resort. I paid. In the long term I knew it wasnt about the $, but rather just the principal. In the 2 trips I've taken to Temptations, I've always found the staff to be helpful and inviting. I didn't let this one jerk ruin my trip, and I won't let it ruin my review, but it left a bad taste in my mouth worth mentioning.
