We really liked staying at Curry Village. It was as advertised with 2 beds in a canvas tent and shared bathrooms and showers. The tents are very close together, so you will hear your neighbors. Lights out at 10pm, so we slept just fine. We loved the pool and rental bikes. All the food was good except the buffet. The beginner horse ride was a little scary, and Mirror lake is not a lake. It is a meadow. The scenery is spectacular. The only thing that was just ok, were the showers. They were small and there was always a line at all three locations in the campground. The WiFi lounge was a lifesaver, because the tents do not have outlets for charging phones and camera batteries. It was fun and very convenient for all our activities.

It's excellent if you think of it as upscale camping.

I've stayed at Curry Village in the tent cabins many times - the joy of being right there in the valley makes it worth a few inconveniences. They have upgraded the shower houses and installed door locks that require an access code, which alleviated the overcrowding experienced in the past. Also improved are selection of blankets provided. The one disappointment is that they no longer allow early check-in - they wouldn't even look at our paperwork until 12:30. They said this is because they reduced their staff size during the morning hours. The campground is esspecially pretty in May - all the dogwoods are blooming. The deli is fantastic with a lot of healthy choices.
