This hotel is terrible! Had to change rooms because no air or heat in room, just to be moved to a room with the same problem and no cold water that worked or toilet that flushed. Hotel old and needs updating and major repair. Stay away!

I cant believe this place received any good reviews. It is dingy and nasty, and way below par for the price. The rooms apparently haven't been renovated since the '60s. They are well beyond retro to just gross. Ordered breakfast--Room service did not bring 1) the coffee, 2)cups for beverages and 3) utensils! Then room service would not pick up the line so we could have it brought up. I ended up eating my breakfast with my hands. Walls were so thin that we could hear neighbors' talking with normal voices. They also unfortunately had a very healthy love life also. :( The staff was very nice, but the hotel was horrible. It was a very disappointing experience. I understand it is being renovated. Good! It really needs it.

Nice place to stay if you are not in your room much
02/21/2013Great staff...one of the best i've encountered in 30 years of traveling. hotel is verrrrry dated and has an odor to it.. internet is slow.

It is an older hotel, but it is clean and comfortable. It looked like the fixtures were updated, so it had a newer 'feel' to it. I would stay there again. We travel with a small dog and they were welcoming to our pet also.

The location is unbeatable (if you like marinas), the bed was very comfortable, the staff friendly and helpful, and the food in the dining room delicious. The marina is a great place for a walk after a meal and the room balconies are very pleasant. The hotel is older and sound carries through floors and walls. There are no refrigerators in rooms. Other than those two things it was wonderful. I would definitely stay there again.
