  This very basic hotel was conveniently located to downtow santa barbara. the desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. very basic but clean and had a good breakfast spread.

• Good bang for your buck

  I was a little reluctant to go for a budget option, but it was certainly sufficient. not the best hotel i've ever been to, but a solid hotel nonetheless.

  This hotel is a very good value in Santa Barbara for the rate charged. It is well located for whatever you intend to do in Santa Barbara or the surrounding communities. Very good staff. I have been staying at this hotel for more than 15 years when I am in Santa Barbara.

  A rather basic motel, but a good value for the money. the staff was friendly and efficient. our room was well back from state st, so no trouble with noise. ...

  A rather basic motel, but a good value for the money. The staff was friendly and efficient. Our room was well back from State St, so no trouble with noise. The fan/heater/air conditioner was quite noisy, and blew the curtains up, so we left it off. Even so, there is some level of automatic ventilation, so it didn't get stuffy. The beds have quilts rather than blankets, so unless it's a cold night you may be too warm.
