not bad hotel for a quick city visit. steps to downtown.

I went to book a room a little too late for a weekend of the Brothers of the Sun tour. This hotel was my only option so I took it. I was pleasantly surprised! By reading past reviews I was expecting a dirty, unfriendly hotel. BUT all I needed was a bed in the city at this point! :) It was full of concert goers so the atmosphere of the hotel was full of partying....but we were o.k. with that...to be expected, the staff was VERY nice. The rooms were surprisingly clean and above my expectations. The hotel was within walking distance to downtown ....which I wanted. It had a pool, we didn't use but if we had brought our suits and had more time we would have definatley got in....looked clean. You get what you pay for so if you're used to 5 star hotels I wouldn't pick this but if you just need a comfortable bed, nice staff and within walking distance to downtown I would definatley recommend this hotel.

The front desk staff was not friendly at all but took care of my needs. The breakfast was good and the lady working the breakfast area was very sweet. The room was old and there was trash left in one of the draws. I would not stay at this location again.

During our stay there were two cockroaches and a blocked drain in our first room. Also the floor was really dirty. It seemed they never vacuum the carpet. So we changed our room. The second room got several bugs, the floor was also dirty. At our first breakfast the juice tasted odd, at the next morning the milk was sour. The only Pro is it's location. Not a good stay.
