My main problems with this hotel were these: 1- I had to get my key reset every day b/c it didn't work 2- The fan in my room stayed on the ENTIRE time with no way to turn it off 3- My internet connection was sketchy at best; there were times when the signal was lost for a while

After returning to the front desk FIVE times before getting a key card that would work, I finally asked to change rooms. This finally provided me entry and a room - which I reserved ahead of time. Too bad it took almost an hour to actually get in the room. When I did, I found it was missing a security lock (other than the key card entry and lock that happens when one closes the door), there were two dead roaches in the bathroom, and someone's black bra on the floor near the headboard. Perhaps the most disappointing thing about the room, however, was the noise that came from neighboring guests. Being near the stairwell, it was an ongoing parade! Between the woman sobbing on the steps after midnight, the dog barking next door throughout the stay, the bottle that was tossed off the floor above mine around 2:30 AM, and the construction workers who decided to begin remodeling near my room early in the morning - I decided to skip the "free" breakfast that was offered and leave as early as I could the next day.

My wife, son and I went to Denver for a few nights and this is how it went. We got to our room and the AC unit want not pluged in so the room was hot all night. When I went to the front counter and asked about the AC they told me it was too early in the year to turn the AC on. It was 80 degrees that day. we had to open our window and there was no screen on it. I was afraid our son was going to fall out of the window. The room smelled like smoke cause the rooms around it people were smoking in a no smoking area, the wall paper was peeling in the restroom, the elevater was old and very slow and had paint peeling . the plug in behind the end table did not work, No alarm clock, and we decided to only stay one night and then go stay with family in Greeley cause the room was so poor. O yeah there was only one good thing about this place the continetal breakfest was really good everything was freshly made

The ratings I read made it seem great, but if I knew the conditions, I would have paid more to stay someplace else. Everything seemed clean, but it needs major updates because many things were very worn. The wallpaper was falling off, carpet was very dirty, parts of the wall were unfinished, etc. The room was really hot, but we were unable to lower the temperature. The room also had a fridge, but it wasn't cold. I had to throw some food away that I was planning on eating. It was really loud because they held church Sunday morning and then held a dance for a group on Sunday night.

Unfortunately, I didn't look at the pics when making my reservation... and thinking that Ramada would be a nice hotel was a huge mistake in this case... run down, dirty hotel... rooms were hot, though air conditioning was supposed to be on, sunglasses left in room from previous guests, ants infested in 3rd room moved to, door found open when returned one day- so the hotel did finally move us to their nicer establishment ~ 15 mins away and much nicer hotel, more modern, nicer furniture, though room wasn't cold enough (even with thermostat on 65 - still felt muggy) ... we are grateful that the hotel did move us, though very disappointed with the mid-town location :(
