The hotel is a much better than average conference style hotel. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The rooms are a good size, and offer nice amenities. The shower was powerful and clean, and the tub was ample sized. The beds were much more comfortable than most conference hotels. It is a "green" hotel, so that was a perk---the bath products were natural and green. If I ever have business near midtown Atlanta or the Georgia Tech campus again, I will be staying at this hotel.

We stayed for a long weekend of Braves, GT football and the Aquarium. They were able to check us in a little early (4pm is normal) so we could get ready to go down to the Braves game early. One of the really nice things for us was there are plenty of places to eat and a grocery store within walking distance. Parking deck was a little pricey but not unreasonable. Marta is a couple blocks to walk to but also okay for my 6 yr old to manage.

We spent the Memorial day weekend there. It is very quiet because there is no big conference being held. The location is very good, there is a lot of resturant within walking distance and Georgia Tech is just 2 blocks away. The staff is friendly and the bed is very comfortable.

We recently met my brother in law and sister in law in Atlanta for a weekend of music and food. The Georgia Tech Hotel was the perfect place. We were centrally located to Little 5 Points were the concert was held and Taste of Atlanta was just outside the doors of the hotel. We rode MARTA to the airport to pick them up. We walked to the Varsity and enjoyed the sites and sounds of Peachtree Street, just two blocks away. All in all a perfect location.

I was a little concerned staying in a busy convention center traveling alone as a woman. The hotel was active and staff attentive. I did not love the detached parking garage returning to the hotel late in the evening. I am grateful for the valet option for the evening. I thought it was a little expensive, but was the only option I would consider safety wise.
