The challenge to staying at this hotel was finding it with a rental car and a city map - it took us two hours of circling the city. I highly recommend NOT renting a car. Driving in the city is maddening at best, and parking is terribly expensive. The hotel was a cool, funky combination of old and new, i.e., elevator next to old marble staircase. The location was terrific (many, many great things within walking distance) and the staff was very pleasant. They rolled an extra bed in so that we could sleep three, and the cost (especially considering that Madrid is a major metropolis) was very reasonable. I definitely recommend this hotel.

This hotel is a small but very well located place to stay... right off the Grand Via within 300 feet of the Metro stop. Staff was very helpful and the rooms although small, were clean and comfortable. Wouldn’t stay here with a large family but for a single or couple you would be hard pressed to find a better overall value.

This hotel was very clean, but the elevator barely fits two people, so getting the bags upstairs was a bit of a hassle. The location is amazing, around the corner from Gran via metro stop and walking distance from puerta del sol and plaza mayor. The room is small but modern looking. My main complaint about the room was that the bathroom door is just a sliding glass door leaving very little privacy. Breakfast is good but pricey.

My husband and I with our two teenage boys fit perfectly in the room. The bunk beds were perfect for the boys and the room had enough space for what we needed. The hotels location was great. You can catch the metro to Gran Via straight from the hotel or catch a shuttle from the airport for $47 euros. Mcdonalds and Starbucks are a few steps away and the shopping is FABULOUS! Best way to get around town is the tour bus (2-day ticket) then we learned the metro was cheaper and easy. We found the local grocery store called DIA around the corner and saved on a few meals. Its expensive w/two teenagers! I highly suggest this hotel to anyone and can't wait to go back!
