NIce, but not worth the extra $

My husband, son and I stayed one night so we could attend the Panther's Fanfest and the Charlotte Criterium. We wound up bringing our own snacks to the room and ate out b/c the food was too expensive. Including breakfast......CERERAL WAS $7.00! Self parking was $18.00. In my opinion, on a weekend, when parking is not a problem in Charlotte, I think the parking should be included in the hotel cost. We have friends in Charlotte and made a few calls to them while there. Each local call was $1.50. Also, the TV was nice, a flat panel HD TV, but only a few channels and all were analog. BTW, the pics on their website look great. However, I had a great view of the highway! The only great thing really was the bed! I slept wonderfully. So, if you don't mind paying for a good bed, and twice as much for everything else, than this is the hotel for you! I will probably stay at the Holiday Inn next time. They at least give a free breakfast!

The Westin's best days are long gone and it's living in PAST glory. My room was unclean, dusty and the towels were dingy. The room smelled like urine because the bathroom was not cleaned properly (the manager admitted it!). The carpet was also worn out and dirty, so I kept my beach flip flops on. In addition, the food in the restaurant was horrible; they couldn't even get breakfast right (the easiest meal of the day!)... I am a BIG Westin fan, so this was a serious "let-down"!!!

We headed to the Queen City for a guys weekend. the Westin was the best hotel to stay at--it was located right downtown you can see the Panther's stadium from the hotel. We never had to worry about driving-- as soon as you step out of the hotel there was a towncar waiting to take you where you needed to go and pick you up. Plenty of parking. Workout room was more up to date them my gym back home. Great Beds and amazing view!!! Stay at this hotel.

Right at check in never received room requested, asked for room that we had reserved it was if I was not telling the truth. Housekeeping did not clean our room correctly did not wipe down bed tables or clean coffee maker. On the Sunday morning at 7:50 am some one called our room asking us if we drove an type of car woke us up. They really do not care lots of other options down town charlotte we will try next time.
