I have never posted a review regarding a hotel, however I had to write a few quick notes regarding this hotel. The hotel itself is large, beautiful and exceptionally well maintained. We stayed in a suite facing the Atrium with two small children 3 and 5 over Thanksgiving. The suite was a perfect size and the view of the Atrium was great. What I will remember most is the friendliness of the staff (and I mean everyone!) and the incredible pool area (heated to 84 degrees). The kids want to return just to go to the pool area.For anyone planning on attending the "ICE" program, bring VERY VERY warm clothing. Hats and really warm gloves are a must. Even with the parkas provided, my kids were freezing within 5 minutes; they keep the temperature at 9 degrees - YIKES! The only downside is the price of the food, however I would say it is comparable to any hotel food pricing elsewhere and at least it was very yummy. We will definitely stay again. Great for a family getaway!

Wonderful staff, very clean, awesome pools and kids activities. Eating there is expensive but lots of local restaurants nearby. Easy access to Disney which was so great. This hotel has something for everyone. I will be staying here again.

This was our first visit to the Gaylord Palms and we cannot say enough great things about this hotel! Our kids loved it so much they didn't even want to go to any of the parks...all we heard was "Can we go back to the hotel?" The pool area for the kids is just wonderful with slides, basketball and movies that are played on the weekends! Staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. We liked it better than the Grand Floridian!!

The entire staff was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The restaurants on the property were very good and reasonable in price. The transportation to/from the Disney parks was very convenient and cabs to/from the Disney parks were relatively reasonable (ranged from $15-20). The swimming pools were great!
