We went to the Paul McCartney concert at the Scott Trade Center. It was right across the street. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They gave us an umbrella because it was raining. We upgraded on check in for $20. We got wireless, an appetizer, and free breakfast. There were only about three choices of appetizers(none that we wanted). We got to breakfast at 9:25. Everything was put up. Not even coffee. We went to the restaurant. The breakfast buffet was about like a continental breakfast. Our room was nice and quiet. Hotel overall was ok, but not worth what we paid.

Stayed to participate in the Rock 'n roll marathon. It was just a block away from the starting point! The downside was I checked in around 7 pm and had to wait a long time for an elevator...there was only one bank of elevators for the hotel rooms, the other elevators were for the condos. The hotel was full so people were standing in lines waiting to get an elevator up.

The door between the bedroom area and the sitting area were welcome. Everything was very clean. Check-in receptionist was excellent and fast on a night when the hotel was fully booked for a marathon and had a wedding reception going on. My only complaint is the lines waiting to get up to the rooms were RIDICULOUS! No alternate elevator bank was mentioned and we had to wait and wait and wait.

Not particularly clean, but probably on par with similar old hotels

This is just how it goes with older hotels, I guess, but the carpet had dark stains, and the bedspread had the remnants of an old red stain on it that had been unsuccessfully cleaned. When we brushed our teeth, the sinks in the bathroom took about two minutes to completely drain and the stopper could not be raised or lowered. A sheet of recommended restaurants in the area seemed unimaginative. Overall, kind of a dump.
