Manager and Dock Master should be more accommodating and friendlier. Rooms not up to par for the price they charge. Only book here if you get a deal like on the Florida Vacation Auctions. Breakfast is good!

If you are boater this hotel is probably great for you. Marina seems to serve every boaters needs. Parking is an issue, spots are limited due to extra guests, divers, boaters, etc.. forget the hotel guest you are second class. Room was small, bathroom smelled like urine. One positive note... pool was nice, clean and big.

This hotel was a great value for the money compared to others in the vicinity. The room was super clean and tidy. The Television could have been a little bigger, but it had good cable, so I am not complaining. It has an awesome sized pool and a bar for drinks near by. Cons: That you can hear a lot of noise from the neighbors. Lacked parking infront of the hotel, you had to park next door. Will go there again.

Considering the laid back area, it was a good hotel. The staff was friendly, the marina view along the back of the hotel was pretty and it was surrounded by 2 great restaurants. The rooms were very dated ( think small non flat screen TVs, a brown fridge, ugly bedspreads and pics and mirrored closets). The staff was nice but the continential breakfast was pretty lame. Overall, we we were happy.

This was our second time staying at this hotel. We LOVE it!!! It has this quirky charm that makes it feel homey instead of impersonal like other places. The hotel is located on the marina. So you walk out of the hotel and right out to where you snorkel/dive/fishing boat!! The grounds are beautiful with walkways along the marina, flowers/plants on both sides. We enjoyed our free breakfast each morning at the tables and chairs outside of the lobby. They overlook the marina and all of the beautiful boats coming and going. There were also 2 chairs outside of our room. (Definitely worth the money for the marina view) The first time we drove up (4 years ago) we were a little leery. The awnings are really faded and torn (they still are) A look into the rooms may not change your mind right away. They don't look like anything special but they are very clean, the sheets are soft, there's plenty of closet space, and the floors are ceramic tile. All important when you are sunburned and wet the whole trip! After staying here we wouldn't stay anywhere else. I'm just not sure why they don't just take the awnings down, everything else is great!!! We walked to Coconuts and Sharkey's (live music) the first night and had a great time. Our 1st mate (on Reef Roamer snorkeling trip-also great) recommended Calypso Restaurant and the Pilot House Glass Bottom Bar for our second night. These were a $6 cab ride away. We were not disappointed!! The food at Calypso was AMAZING!!! All four of these places are on the water with marina views.
