The hotel was a good value and a great location... The building could stand a few updates, but I didn't go to Dallas to sit in the hotel the entire trip.. The location is within walking distance of Union Station/TRE and many tourist sites... Valet parking for $15/day is a JOKE.... They charged me for valet for the day I checked-out!! RUDE The staff is courteous, and helpful... It's a good value, but if you want something SPECTACULAR stay at the HYATT..

The Hotel Lawrence was built in 1925. The original deco ambiance has been preserved. Some of the furniture is original as are some of the light fixtures. The hotel has been tastefully redone and updated without losing the feel of the period. The rooms are accordingly small. The beds are comfortable, the bath fixtures are updated; clean thick towels are provided. Don't expect the Holiday Inn. This is a unique experience. Had a Texas shaped waffle in the breakfast area with plenty of coffee. I absolutely would stay there again. Restaurant adjacent. Parking on street and in separate lot. Valet service available.

Hotel is just a couple blocks from the JFK site so location is good. Parking is not good. Valet parking is $16 a day but stops at 9 pm. Self parking is $12 per day but there is no in/out priviledge so $12 everytime you want to leave. Is street parking but nite I was there one person had his car window busted out and stuff stolen. Room was average but for price ok. Good breakfast included. Half the staff was very friendly and helpful but the other half seemed like they had other things to do besides help the customer.

Attention's good, good cleanliness. The only thing I didn't like too much was the bed, it wasn't enough comfortable. The hotel is old but nice!! The hotel hasn't parking lot but you have a private one just a few steps and is 24/7 so, you don't have to be worried about the time you want to pick your car up. Very good location, it's near of most cultural and interest places!!! I recommend it!!
