Old, old hotel. Great location, which is the entire reason I stayed there. One elevator for too many people, too often it was quicker to take the creepy back stairway, but that became TOO creepy. Avoid if you can - rooms are old, few TV stations, cramped spaces. Plus - no free continental breakfast, and don't bother paying for it either. Head a block away and get something at the ING Cafe.

We have stayed at the Tremont several times. The staff is great, they always remember us, and Ditka's is very fun. Great food, service, and well the is Iron Mike! But, the rooms can be small and outdated. Usualy the beds are comfortable and clean, but the area is small and cramped. Regardless, we will stay there again, and recommend it to friends all the time.
