This hotel was centrally located on Cape Cod, easy access to all points of interest. My room was clean and comfortable. The biggest plus for me is that the Ambassador is pet friendly, the hotel was very accommodating to myself and Samantha (my yellow lab). The staff was friendly and helpful when I had a door problem, when I first checked-in, which they quickly resolved. Morning breakfast wasn't fancy, but was sufficient and the coffee was ready and hot when we made an early departure to get safely out of the path of hurricane Sandy. Would stay at this location again.

The outdoor and indoor with hot tub pools are beautiful as well as temperature perfect! The indoor pool is spectacular in a log cabin style setting with a picturesque pea stone floorl! The rooms have recently been renovated so they are nice and clean! The new linens and light down comforters are very comfortable. They even left 2 pillows in every room! The complimentary breakfast has make your own fresh waffles, as well a variety of fruit, cereal, donuts, bagels and english muffins! Many families and seniors there as well, since it was affordable! The owner is never far from the front desk if you need him and he knows his guests!

The hotel is in an okay location of the city, close to things...including the cemetery that runs along side of it. The staff was okay but not very professional. We arrived to the owner scrapping and painting the outside. There was black mold growing on the ceilings inside of the hotel. The room itself was musty but a decent size, with a small fridge. The beds were horrible, lumpy-springy and small. Not sure if the sheets were changed from the last guests, we found long black hairs in one of the beds. The bathroom was insanely small and not clean. I would not stay here again. After this we stayed in Hyannis at Americas Best Value for $ and it was much better. Oh.....the breakfast is little to be desired. The room was hot and people were ill from it. My husband actually opened the window and was told by a staff not to do that. Everyone protested and the window stayed open. The breakfast consisted of old mini muffins, stale cereal and juice. We decided to eat out!

I thought - At this reasonable price...I wonder what this place will be like...We were very pleasantly surprised! It is at a great location. Just a short drive to downtown Hyannis or to Chatham Beach. Everything was as promised. I was greeted at the front desk with a welcoming smile - which is something others often leave out! We checked in very quickly and with no hassles. The staff was full of local information and had plenty of what-to-do/coupon books. The room was clean and stocked with the usual amenities including coffee. The indoor pool/hot tub area was very nice and clean and open till 10:00 PM. (Too cold for the outdoor pool.) They had a really nice breakfast - Four cereal choices, toast, muffins, bagels, two juices, coffee, tea, and of course the do-it-yourself waffles! They kept it well stocked and clean. My only slight disappointment was a non-working ice machine on second floor, but we froze water in the fridge/freezer in the room. We will definately stay here again! And By the Way, This Hotel is completly Renovated just before we got there. I Would surely go back to this Hotel If I go to cape cod again.
