Stayed awhile back while in town for the Celtics and Red Sox games. There were tons of dogs, very noisy. Worst part was the room next to us threw a very loud, out of control party until 3am - which the hotel staff would not do anything about. I'm only 30 and like to party but this was ridiculous, it was impossible to sleep because the walls are very thin. There was ubelievable noise from loud music and screaming, sounded like underage drinking but not positive. We toloerated it until 2am, but then needed some sleep. Worst part is I had to call the hotel security 3 times (which I have never done once), and they were unable to do anything or didn't care enough. It was only when I informed them that my next call was to the police that they were able to shut it down - after complaints from multiple guests. The next day we were not offered a discount or anything, if we weren't under contract I would've changed hotels in a second. The hotel is in a great location, but was managed very poorly when we were there.

The hotel was overall an outstanding experience. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. We arrived early in the morning, they held our luggage for us, recommended a nearby restraunt, and then called us while we were out to let us know they had our room ready several hours early so we could come back and check in and catch a quick nap. The concierge guys were very helpful, all their recommendations were right on. The overall hotel atmosphere is definitely geared towards a more metropolitan traveler, the room was very nice. The bed wasn't the most comfortable I have slept on, but not bad by any means. A great place to stay for business or vacation.

Overall the stay was pretty good. We only had one problem on 1 of the 3 nights we were staying where the water in the bathroom wasn't working all morning. The hotel did offer complimentary breakfast in their KO Restaurant for us while we waited for them to fix the problem. It would have been nicer if they offered the option for breakfast as room service since we obviously couldn't get ready due to no running water. Overall, the staff was friendly and the hotel was in the superb location. I would definitely stay here again.

  • Great hotel right in the thick of things....(pet friendly!!)

I was very pleased with Nine Zero. The hotel staff was great, and very helpful. I went to Boston to relax and take some time off from work and school. The bed and pillows were amazingly comfortable. The hotel is a two min walk from the Boston Commons and Park St station for the T, so it is very easy to get around town. As well as Fannuel Hall is less than a ten minute walk. Room service was pricey but what hotel isn't, and I didn't go to KO either as that is not my idea of a steak house restaurant. Overall a great hotel that is contemporary in a good way, but surrounded by history and activities for everyone. My only inconvenience was there was only set of outlets in the room at the desk, nothing near the bed for my cell phone to be close by, but the alarm clock is iPod dock able, not iTouch/iPhone compatable though.

We visited Boston for the first time and we did not know the hotel area. We were very happy with the Nine Zero hotel. The staff was very polite and friendly. The room was very clean and the has everything you need. If you need something is not in the room, you can call the operator and they will be happy to provide everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. Even if the hotel is a rebah old hotel, the smell was great, and you never think you are inse a old hotel. They have a happy hour everyday from 5 to 6 Pm with free wine. It is a VERY pet-friendly hotell. We missed our dogs so much each time we saw the water and treat bowl at the hotel entrance. We did not rent a car, we walk and took the subway, the hotel is close to great places in Boston. Across from Boston commons, few blocks from Quincy market and the Aquarium, one block from the subway station. The bed and pillow were sooo wonderful! We will come back to Boston and definitly come back to the Nine Zero.
