Hotel Monteleone was the perfect location . It was nice to be so close to Bourbon street(one block away) but, far away to not hear all the noise. Hotel Monteleone is close to fine restraunts like Mr.B's Bistro right across the street. The exercise facility was state of the art. Very classy hotel!

Hotel Monteleone is the perfect hotel for New Orleans. Wonderfully elegant and friendly, yet only one block away from transportation, Bourbon Street, entertainment, etc. Fine dining can be found in the hotel and just across the street, in fact, in every direction within a matter of a few blocks. I especially appreciated the fact that there was quiet solitude for sleeping, unlike the rowdy, "party all night" scene of Bourbon Street just a street or so away. They have a variety of prices for rooms. My room was wonderful and I received it at a discounted rate. Make sure you reserve early for it is a popular hotel and you have a better selection of rooms. First rate: Hotel Monteleone. "I shall return."

Absolutely LOVED this hotel. The staff was great and the location was perfect and central to everything. I took my husband here for 4 nights for his 40th birthday and the experience was phenomenal. I would definitely stay here again.

My family and I absolutely loved our stay at the Hotel Monteleone and cannot wait to return someday soon! The service was excellent. The entire staff was extremely friendly, courteous, helpful and willing to share "insider" information about wonderful restaurants and other points of interest. The rooms were nicely appointed and very clean. I never heard noise from any other rooms and slept great as a result. My husband is very fussy about hotel beds and theirs passed the comfort test. The hotel is beautiful inside and out but my two favorite spots were the rooftop pool area, especially at dusk and The Carousel Bar. The bar has THE best bartenders I have ever encountered. We met great people from all over the country . Many locals also frequented The Carousel Bar which is a credit to the great atmosphere and service. I would highly recommend The Hotel Monteleone. I did a lot of research before our trip and was pretty confident that I was making the right choice. Our experience went even beyond my high expectations.
