We were very happy with this hotel. Location is great with subways only a couple blocks away. We walked to the Kensington Palace which was several blocks away and enjoyed the pleasant and quiet neighborhood. Staff were courteous and willing to help with directions and inquiries. Breakfast was very good with large assortment of food. Lots of great restataunts nearby. I would definitely stay there again.

My wife and I stayed here during Super Bowl weekend in 2010 - when the Saints won it. This actually was not by design, as we had made reservations for the trip long before. It was a blast. We initially were worried it would be very loud, but quickly found that to not be the case. It's location is perfect, not too close to Bourbon but certainly not too far at only one block. We found this to be optimal. The hotel was clean and the staff very helpful. Its carousel bar is an especially neat touch - the kind of thing tourists were stopping by to see, and here it is right off our lobby!

02/07/2011The downstairs bar gets a little crowded in the evenings. but, you can find another bar anywhere in nola. also, some rooms are very small. bathrooms have no vent.
