We chose the "Hotel Monteleone" for our stay during Mardis Gras. We couldn't have picked a better place. The location was perfect...in the heart of the French Quarter. The hotel was very clean and just beautiful. The staff was always welcoming and friendly. They were very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The swimming pool, located on the rooftop was heated, with a very relaxing atmosphere. We would definitely recommend staying at this wonderful hotel.

This hotel was absolutely beautiful, both inside and out. The facade was gorgeous and the lobby very elegant. The rooms were nicely decorated and the revolving lounge and roof top pool really unique! Couldn't ask for a better location, right in the heart of the French Quarter. We will definitely stay here again and again!

Great hotel. Beautiful and full of character. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very nice and clean. The hotel is in a great location within walking distance to most everything. Will stay again on our next trip to New Orleans .

A comfortable, elegant, historical, welcoming home base from which to enjoy the delights of our favorite American city. The only hotel I've ever booked who allows one with an early morning arriving flight to check into his/her room at 10:00 a.m. We have enjoyed this remarkable property since the "good old days," i.e. before the charming rooftop bar was replaced with a fitness center (which, of course, we now take frequent).
