    Three of my friends and I spent a long Girls' Weekend in the Big Easy. The hotel was beautiful...with a lovely facade and a breathtaking rooftop pool area. The Cafe had suprisingly good food, with good presentation. The Carosel Bar is a must see, and the Bloody Mary a must order. The rooms are not large, which is to be expected in a historic hotel. The bathrooms, while small...were either stone or mirrors...making the room seem larger. The beds are VERY comfortable, using the three-sheet method of making the beds. The fully-stocked mini bar makes no allowances for keeping water cool (the only drawback). The spa is very small with limited services, but the technicians are extremely professional and friendly. The manicures, pedicures, massages and facials were a perfect treat for a girls' weekend. If we return to New Orleans, would we stay here again. Yes!

    Very nice hotel. Stay here every time we go to N.O. Left a pair of glasses in the room - when I called to inquire, they mailed them to me overnight. Desk help always very nice and helpful. Love the Carousel Bar in the lobby.

    We stayed four nights at the Monteleone and had a great time. The room was nice, clean, and the beds were very comfortable. The staff was friendly and accomodating. The location is one block from Bourbon Street and is central to all activities in dowtown New Orleans. We walked to the Superdome to see a Saints game. The crowd there was awesome. I was even thanked by some Saints fans for coming to their city (I was wearing my visiting teams hat). Will definitely stay here again on our next visit.

    Hotel is charming, and the room was very well apointed. The safe was a good feature, bath was nice, and beds comfortable. The decor is lovely. Staff was helpful, and there is a Gray Line counter in the lobby to reserve. We took the Hurrican Katrina tour and had a good driver/guide and found it very interesting. Location is on a good street near attractions you would like to visit...only a block from Bourbon Street and about six blocks from Jackson Square and riverfront. The St.Charles streetcar is a few blocks away. I would love to stay at Hotel Monteleone again. Don't forget to have a drink at the lively Carousel Bar. Across the street is a very good restaurant called Mr.B's Bistro. In the evening we took coffee to the rooftop and sat by the pool and looked at the city view. Only negative we encountered was late in the day housekeeping of our room, which occurred when we were dressing for a wedding. The housekeeper was courteous and we had everything we needed while there.

    Stayed here the twice the last two years. Both times the last part of February. Beautiful, historical hotel with a lot of class. The room wasn't very large, but very clean and beautiful decor. Nice bed, very comfortable. Bathroom was not very large, but clean and also nicely decorated. Loved the Carousel Bar, it was very pretty. Loved the location of the hotel. Close to Bourbon Street, but not right on it. Far enough away to escape the noise. Would defnitely stay here a 3rd time. Great experience. Got a kick out of the ghost stories in the hotel. Staff was very friendly and professional. Nice workout room on top floor of hotel. Great outdoor pool on roof. Nice view up there, too.
