We have visited New Orleans many times over the last 25 years but we had never stayed in the Monteleone. We certainly be staying there in the future. The accommodations were excellent. The staff was friendly and professional. The gym was more than adequate (it was a little too chilly to use the rooftop pool.) The location was also just right, we were a short walk to most of the attractions in the French Quarter and the streetcars were quite close for our other excursions. Having to pay for WiFi was our only complaint.

Our stay at this hotel was wonderful. It is located right in the French Quarter, close to everything. The staff was very accommodating, the room was beautiful and very comfortable and the food was excellent. We were able to walk to everything from the hotel and it was a fantastic experience staying here. Don't miss this jewel of a hotel!!

My husband and I spent our anniversary here and could not have been more happy with this hotel. The staff from the front desk to the cleaning staff was just wonderful. The hotel is in the heart of the French Quarter, so we were close to everything, The hotel is very beautiful, luxurious and and yet very comfortable. Don't miss this New Orleans gem!

The hotel itself is a monument; a New Orleans icon. The only things we would change: in a two bed bedroom there should be a lock on the bathroom door, and the beds shouldn't wiggle continuously after being gently touched. That's pretty much it. The place is clean, it was a little expensive but we found out that it was because of a large convention coinciding with Halloween weekend. So totally understandable.
