  This is a quaint hotel with antique furniture located in the heart of the French Quarter. Staff and cleaning service was above expectations. Rooms were nice and clean. I didn't like was the lack of security and that the elevator on the 1st floor is actually located outside of the hotel and not in the lobby.

  Thanks so much to the staff of the Dauphine Orleans for making our wedding/honeymoon a wonderful experience in our favorite city. :) I would stay here again in a heartbeat!!! You cannot beat the breakfast (which is WAY more than continental) and the location was perfect.

  Great location close everything in the Quarter, we loved the court yards and all the staff were great. We go to New Orleans yearly and usually stay in a different hotel everytime but I think we have found our favorite.

  This is a quaint hotel with a great continental breakfast offered each day and newspaper at your door. The attached bar is charming, May Baileys, and guests are given a free cocktail ticket at check-in. The pool and interior courtyard are smaller but pretty. Close to everything in the Quarter.

  We stayed at the dauphine for our anniversary. the room was fine, comfy bed. however, when we chose to watch tv, it made a loud, clicking sound, which was annoying. ...

  We stayed at the Dauphine for our anniversary. The room was fine, comfy bed. However, when we chose to watch TV, it made a loud, clicking sound, which was annoying. And, when we checked into our room, the garbage had not been emptied from the previous guest, and was not emptied the next day--apparently it was not evident it needed to be addressed. Another issue was that he tub did not drain well. However, we did not address these concerns with the hotel because we spent very little time in the room. The breakfast was nice--lots to choose from. Friendly staff--a few took time to discuss the alledged haunting activity. May Baily's was great--got the sense of it being a bordello and had a nice check-in cocktail. The Dauphine is so close to so many activities--great hotel for the French Quarter.
