Rooms were small, yes, and the elevator even smaller. It fits about 3 people without bags or 2 people with 1 carry-on each. But being Europe, it's to be expected. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. Especially the night crew -- they were great! They all speak English and didn't make fun of my poor French! :) Rooms were very clean. Bathroom seemed fairly new and clean. There was no shower curtain, though, so that was a bit odd. But we managed to keep too much water from getting all over the place. All the rooms appear to be different, so some may be larger, some might not have a tub. We had a tub but just used the shower. There's a little mini-fridge we used. We'd buy sodas from the G-20 supermarche. The cleaning ladies did not speak any English, but were very friendly, too. Hotel is in a great spot. Near Metro and RER (about 2 blocks). The Louvre, St. Germaine, Notre Dame, Sainte Chappelle all within walking distance. Musee d'Orsay a little farther, but also walkable. I'd definitely stay here again.

We are a family of five - three teenagers and 2 adults. The staff was wonderful and the location a huge plus. We were close to shopping (as a local French person) and the Louvre. The breakfast was pleasant and we are huge fans of Nutella now. The room sizes are true to size. A 2 person room is for two people - no more. By European standards these are true sizes. The rooms were clean and the location was quite - two pluses when traveling. We would definitely stay there again.

This hotel is in a great location just off the Rue du Rivoli, two blocks from the Metro, Les Halles and the Pont Neuf. Easy walking to the Louvre,Tuileries gardens, Notre Dame, Musee D'Orsay. Our rooms were very small, but adequate, with tiny but immaculate and very modern bathrooms (white tile, marble countertops). We elected not to pay for the breakfast package (15 Euros, they offered us a reduction to 10 Euros per day as we were staying for a full week.) and instead ate breakfast in a number of nearby cafes and even at Starbucks. (convenient, inexpensive by Parisian standards, and comfortable). The hotel has a computer in the lobby for guest use, they sell internet cards at the desk. The very best part of this experience was the staff, all of whom were charming and helpful. We learned very quickly to rely on their restaurant recommendations, all of which were terrific. The staff asked thoughtful questions about our preferences (cost, location, type of food) and consistently sent us to great spots. This is not the hotel for you if you want to hang out in a posh hotel room, but if you want convenient, clean, friendly accommodations near the heart of historic Paris, and can live with a small room and bath with minimal storage, this is an excellent choice.
