Whilst the resort is in a beautiful location and the facilities are fantastic (ie the 3 swimming pools, and bon island), the staff were disorganised, we were unable to check into our room when we arrived at 4pm and did not get a room until 7.30pm and then the bed setup was incorrect, (we booked a triple room and were given a room with queen bed), the bedding problem was not fixed until the following day. The staff in the bars/restaurants always welocome you with a smile but it was sometimes impossible to get someone to actually serve you, even a drink of water was hard to get by the pool. The resort is well out of town and the shuttle bus advertised on the website which we assumed would be complimentary was double the cost of a taxi/tuktuk, which you can walk out the front gate and get. We had high expectations after staying at sister resort in nha trang, vietnam, and were left very disatisfied considering this resort was considerably more expensive then it's sister and phuket is a well established tourist destination.
