It was my first time staying at Harrahs and will definitely be my last. We were offered a decent rate on the rooms and that is why we chose this hotel over others for my annual quotguys tripquot. Upon check-in we were told that our room was not available and we were quotupgradedquot for the first night but would have to quotcheck-outquot and quotcheck-inquot again in the morning! We were all very tired and did not wish to get up that next morning but had no choice. I asked if we could combine the 3 rooms I rented into this single 2 bedroom suite and they refused saying wed have to pay an extra 200 per night if we didnt check out. While checking out the next morning we find that they didnt have any rooms ready. We were not able to get back into a room until 3pm that afternoon 6pm for the other two! Once we were in our room we found hairs on the bed and toilet. Frustrated with the situation we demanded to be moved...which they agreed to. I told them we wont be staying at any Harrahs properties again and I will take my business to the MGM properties. They then attempted to bribe us with a pathetic 50 food credit. Once back home I then found an extra 50 charge against my credit card. Harrahs told us that the first night we would not be charged for one of the rooms since we combined two of them. That didnt happen - I was charged an extra nights deposit. When asking them to remove the charge they claimed it was accurate. The final slap in the face. Honestly go elsewhere for your Vegas experience. Ive taken fifteen trips and this was the worst!

For the price we paid our expectations were met and surpassed. Our room was clean, nice and very comfortable. I am very particular where I lay my head and am easily turned off by the slightest stain, aroma, or unpleasant atmotsphere, but I can honestly say this hotel was a great value. If I had to complain it would be the fact that there was no microwave or fridge, but as soon as I noticed it was not there I was whisked away onto the strip. The location was also a plus. It's right in the center of the strip. You are minutes away from any and everything you may want to experience.

We arrived at Harrah's on March 28, 2010. We waited in a line for about 45 minutes to check into our rooms. We received an upgrade on one of our rooms for free which was awesome. The rooms were way better than I thought they would be. We had an awesome view of the volcano at the Mirage which we loved to watch go off at night. We have a baby so we were given a quiet area of the hotel which was on the 16th floor in the Mardi Gras Tower. We were very close the the Venetian which was nice to be able to walk over to the Phantom. I would definetly stay at Harrah's again.

I picked Harrahs for the location its a . My 75 yr old Dad came with and he really enjoyed it too. We had a great time. Sure we had to wait at check in but it wasnt that bad. Everybody does when they get there at 4pm but it wasnt too long. Wanted a view of the strip but it was $* extra per night so I chose the Western view instead. Room was great cleaned daily. Stayed there for 4 nights and bed was comfy. Loved the Piano Bar especially karaoke from 6-9pm daily. I like to sing so that was a plus. The Piano Bar drinks are pricy so I played the video poker to get my drinks compd while waiting to sing. I only play video poker and thought the payouts were fair thoughout Harrahs. The Carnival bar is for the younger hip hop crowd not for us but there was still plenty to see and do. The downside to Harrahs was the food. The buffet was not great. I cant eat seafood and that narrowed several choises. I thought it was priced high and not as good as what I expected. After being out late one night we stopped at the cafe in Harrahs for a late night breakfast A sign posted advertised Rib Eye steak and eggs for $* - Wow what a deal! Of course the ribe eye was more like a small flank steak which I expected but the surprise was the coffee was $* per cup. I complained and said quotI would have paid $* for the breakfast and for the coffeequot I felt it was misleading and unethical that a big casino had to bait people for a few extra dollars for a cup of coffee
