The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The staff was very accomodating. The hotel was a bit dated and the clientele was a bit elderly but our stay was enjoyable since the hotel is in a great location. Would return and would recommend.

This was our first trip to Vegas so finding the right hotel was a bit of a gamble. We wanted to stay at a reasonably priced hotel that was still clean, comfortable, and centrally located. Harrah's more than met our expectations. The rooms were very comfortable and the staff great. The location is perfect: right in the center of the strip, with a mono-rail stop and a free bus to other related hotel/casinos. We were on the pool side but it wasn't too noisy at all. The fridge costs extra, so we didn't use it. Instead, we walked to CVS and bought a cheap foam cooler to keep our drinks cold. The concierge wasn't particularly helpful, but that was about the only negative. We'd definitely stay there if we went again. The only other place I'd consider is Bally's, but it's a bit further down the strip.

I indicated I'd recommend this Hotel mainly for its location. The room was small and spare, but did manage to make room to sell "amenities" like razors, and mouthwash..weird! The pillows were rock-like, bring your own if you can! There is a connecting door to the next room and we could hear the people talking..every word. They weren't being noisy..they were just talking! We've enjoyed to the Oyster Bar in the past, this time it was barely acceptable..waiter was borderline rude and got the order wrong. I was finished with my dinner by the time my Husband got his. Slot playing was not fun at all...if I hadn't played at the Bellagio and the Mirage, I would not have won anything. Cocktail people came around, I'd order, and finally have to leave because they never came back with my sparkling water! I really dislike having to "run the gauntlet" of vendors in order to go from the Hotel toward the I.P. and beyond.
