We arrived for a late check in. I had spoken to the registration the night before, arranged for the late check in with a King Bed and view. When we arrived at 9:30pm, only rooms left were queen on the older floor tower, however they did meet the request of a high floor. The desk staff did get us checked in quickly since we were pre-paid. I was dissapointed to use the fintness center it was an additional price. The smoke smell was a bit stronger in the casino and hotel, although the smoke free rooms were just that--no hint of smoke smell at all which I am sure must be hard considering the amount. The hotel is in a great location on the strip but we were disapointed that more resturants and shopping was not available in the hotel like many of the others. The stores were limited to small gift shops and the resuraunts were not designed to look appealing to attract dinners. We did enjoy the Toby Keith Bar and Grill. The bartenders were great and so was the food and drink. A great, fun atmosphere. We spent more time and money in many of the other hotels, bars, casinos, resturants on the Vegas strip. They just seemed to have more to offer. Herrah's does have the best monorail stop located by their hotel. Was very close. Herrahs is also in walking distance from the mall. As we were checking out and picking up last minute gifts the hotels retail system went down. The only way to purchase anything was cash AND that meant no credits towards your rewards cards. All in all we had a good stay. I would recomend the hotel for the price and location, but not for the ammenities

04/16/2011I have stayed at harrah's several times and am always pleased with the service and comfort. i especially enjoy the location which is in the middle of the strip.

BEST VALUE ON THE STRIP!
04/13/2011We had stayed at harrah's before, so chose it again. rooms are comfortable and clean. great value for price.
WE HAD STAYED AT HARRAH'S BEFORE, SO CHOSE IT AGAIN. ROOMS ARE COMFORTABLE AND CLEAN. GREAT VALUE FOR PRICE.
