Perfect location to visit most of the major casinos by foot. Room was clean, beds were extremely comfortable, no surprises at check out. Check in and out were fast and efficient. Monorail on site makes travel along the strip a breeze. Great atmosphere! Toby Keith's "I Love this Bar" was fantastic-excellent food and fun vibe. Highly recommend! The only downside is the Wyndham group that bugs you every time you enter the casino.

Arrived at 2 a.m. there was a line of 50 people waiting to check in and only 1 person working who was accommodating only “VIP”. The rest of us were just looking. The manager came over told us that we would have to wait for 1.5 hrs to check in. When our turn finally came we were advised that they could check us in but would check us out next day and we would have to move to another room “Great.” We told them that we can’t move in and out every day, we are on the business trip; the manager told us that the reservation can be cancelled and we can go look for another hotel (at 3 a.m.) After 30 min of arguments we were upgraded to a “suite” for extra charges (we were billed instantly on the spot) so that we don’t have to move out the next day. We went up to the so called “suite” which wasn’t a suite but a regular room. Unable to go and argue we decided to wait and then speak to the manager again. We did go to the manager and complained, the answer was simple “yes it is not a suite” but it is located “next to a suite” “Excuse me” we paid extra just to be in the room adjacent to a suite??? It gets better we were told if you do not stop arguing we will call security to escort us out. We were all shocked, it is “Incredible” that the managers are allowed to tell you anything that wish and do whatever they want, without taking any responsibility (you want to complaint we call a security to kick you out). By the way the room was terrible as well, the furniture was old and the table was broken, the room was incredibly dark because of the poor lighting, need a flashlight to look for stuff in the closet. The closet and the room were incredibly small; stayed in many hotels in Las Vegas this room was the worst (not mentioning the service). The shower was broken and so was the toilet and the pipes made noise but I guess we were supposed to feel better because we stayed “NEXT to a suite”. The experience was terrible.

I booked a (1) Bed room with Harrah's for two nights for the weekend of January 4, 2012. I arrived about 45 minutes after check-in time and waited about 30 minutes in line. The front desk attendant wasn't friendly and didn't tell me any of the information one would assume is routine. She didn't tell me my room number, where it was located, or any special deals the hotel might offer. Which I would have loved to hear since I was there to spend money. I arrived to the room and it was nice. VERY small but perfectly clean. Unfortunately, my room didn't even have a mini fridge to store water in etc. It didn't smell at all smoky which was wonderful since I am not a smoker. Overall I give the room 4 out of 5 stars. Due to the cleanliness. I played the slots downstairs for awhile but not one server asked us if we'd like a drink so we went to The Bellagio instead. The service there was awesome so I tipped the servers generously. The parking is free! No resort fee! Two major bonuses. No free Wi-fi... Time to catch up on the time Harrah's. $11.95 for internet is ridiculous. Harrah's is right in the middle of the strip for a decent price. If you don't need anything super fancy and on a budget, stay here. I'd probably stay again.
