The Aston is located right in front of the beach so you can just cross the street and you're there! There is also The Tiki Lounge which is located at the corner of the hotel which often features live music. The beds are comfy and our room was cozy with a great view of Diamond Head and a partial view of the ocean. Breakfast was also included, which was a plus. Now for some negatives. Our sliding glass door didn't close all the way, so we constantly heard the wind blowing through; but after a while you get used to it. When we arrived at the hotel, we had to pay an extra $10 per night for their amenity fee. For the breakfast, while they have bagels, pastries, cereal and yogurt for free, you have to pay if you want an omelette or French toast. Lastly, they have no free wi-fi.

Nice hotel, but a bit crowded. Wi-Fi is only free in the pool area, and breakfast is messy and not very good. Hotel is clean but rooms are a bit dated (excepting the flat screen tv). The best advantage is the wonderful location.

We reviewed and researched hotels up and down Waikiki beach for weeks before choosing this one. Great choice. One of the perks: further down the strip of hotels so the beach was not as busy as it was near the other hotels. The staff was polite and helpful. The bar at the hotel was great. Live music at breakfast, happy hour, dinner, and at night. No WIFI in the rooms, ethernet hookup only. And skip the free cold breakfast downstairs- go to LULU's next door- IT WAS AMAZING! We are planning another trip and Aston Waikiki is definitely in mind to stay at again.
