We got an oceanview room on the 24th floor. The views were amazing! The bathroom could use a little bit of updating, but it was not that bad. The room was kept very clean. I didn't care for the complimentary breakfast. If you like carbs, then you'll be in heaven. However, for those who enjoy protein for breakfast, it is better to got somewhere else. The location is very convenient making it very easy to walk to restaurants in the area. One just needs to cross the street to go to the beach. Towels and chairs are available. The pool is small, but who wants to be there when the gorgeous beach is just feets away! Late check-out are not free. We were charged $75. If you don't want to pay for that, you can leave your bags in storage but there are no showers availabe like in other hotels in case you want to spend your last hours at the beach.

Staff and view spectacular!

We were on the 19th floor, overlooking Waikiki Beach, and the view was excellent. It was listed as "Partial Ocean View", but you could see both the beach and Diamond Head clearly. The room was very clean, and kept that way for the entire week. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Complimentary breakfast was good; good variety (great donuts). Elevator system is unique and very secure - you must use your room key to activate, and can only go up to your floor or down to the lobby (there are no room buttons in the elevator). On-site restaurant very good, and lively bar and entertainment. Great location - walking distance to everything on main street. Only negative is WIFI in room uses a cable, so useless for iPads - there is free wireless access in the lobby/pool area, however.

the only thing i didnt like-this hotel is NOT on the beach. you must cross the street to reach the beach. not a far walk and i could see the beach from my partial ocean view. nice breakfast choices and clean.

My wife and I were on our honeymoon and really enjoyed staying at this hotel. It is located across the street from the beach, and has several good food options within the building itself. The continental breakfast was great to wake up to each morning along with the live music and hula. We'd have no problem staying here again.
