This was the 6th time we have stayed at this hotel. You can"t beat the view from the Aloha Suite Ocean View room. The last few times we stayed here the showers have been awful. We couldn't adjust the shower head and it sprayed out a really hard mist and the shower curtain blew into the tub. It seems that they don't check the quality of the showers and maintance is not done. On Friday and Sat night the band and people are so loud and it goes on until 1am. The Diamond Head side is quiet but you don't get the view. After staying here 6 times we decided we will try something else, but will miss the v iew and breakfast!

This hotel was in a wonderful location. It was close to everything we wanted to be close to and easy to get to the beach with beautiful views from our Ocean Front room. However, be warned. The rooms are small and cramped and there is absolutely NO counter space in the tiny outdated bathroom. The elevators are a nightmare. You can't go down to the 1st floor where you exit the building without changing elevators on the 3rd floor and the staff doesn't do a very good job of explaining how to use them when you check in. The free breakfast buffet in the mornings is pretty unimpressive. If you want anything other than sweet breads/pastries or cold cereal and fruit, you have to pay for it and the fact that the only place to sit and eat your breakfast is in a pool chair was disappointing. This hotel would be fine for a night or two at the most but we were there for 10 days and it was very cramped and not very relaxing. I wouldn't recommend it.
