This was a disappointing experience. Staff and facility very non consumer friendly. The pool closed at 7:00pm and we were kicked out for sitting at a table in the pool area. This was a beautiful outdoor space but you were not allowed to sit there after 7:00. The elevator situation was a nightmare, often with long waits. We had to walk to the local coffee shop for a cup of coffee. The room was adequate but would not return.

I stayed in Aug 09 and complained about the elevators. I stayed again 2/22-2/26/10 and found the elevators to be working much better than I expected. Had a great time. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed here for 6 nights in February and loved the location and all the hotel had to offer. The 'breakfast on the beach' was worth the extra $$ for our family. Also the free beach chairs and towels to check out, saved us bringing our own and the hotel safety was a benefit! Location is the best, right across the street from the beach. Excellent value for the price! Have already made reservations to go back in March!

The hotel has a new security system employed in the elevators which is very efficient and safe. The accomodations are attractive and modern. The staff is very helpful and keeps the hotel clean and attractive. It is a great value for the money as well as being in a great location. I hope to back again soon.

This was our second hotel after Hilton Hawaiian Village so it was a bit of an adjustment to get used to a much smaller room but for the price it was to be expected with a good partial ocean view. The small fridge froze everything we put in it. The free breakfast (pastry, coffee, cereal, fruit & yogurt) was fine and handy for taking on the go, but a bit frustrating that anything hot was extra. Also frustrating, even though we called ahead to make sure we could check in early (only 1 hr early) the room was still not ready when we arrived. Don't waste your time trying to check in early, just go sit on the beach until check-in time. Great location, right across from beach with a great kid area (walled in so no waves) and they do movie night on a big screen down by the beach on Sat. nights, we missed it but saw it from the Top of Waikiki Restaurant (revolving restaurant) while we were eating. It is on the far end of the strip of shops and restaurants but it is the hopping side of Waikiki beach late at night. Never was too loud though. The food options there are fine, the Puck Express is good for a hot breakfast although expensive. But there are plenty of restaurants walking distance.
