300 words? i'm not done!! so the elevators didn't work down till 4pm the notice said. On the last day 5 days 4 nights we wen to the 3rd floor to ck out acouple of towels and the time was 11:30 a.m. I didn't have to hear my bf to know he was MAD as i waited for him near the pool i then see him pointing down to the large hamper on wheels fulll of dirty towels. He walked over to me an said the guy at the towel ck out said they had no clean towels that they were all being washed!! LOL at 11:30 a.m.??? funny thing was this guy in the pool asked are there any clean towels yet? NO!! guess I wont' get out then. On the positive side our flight didn't leave till 11 at night so were able to book a room for less so we could enjoy the beach all day then take a nice shower before we got on the plane. The desk where you book your adventures the lady there was very nice and helpful. Oh couple more things when we took a shower we had to turn the shower off and on so we didn't have to take abath during our shower. When they upgraded our room they gave us two double beds...good thing we like to snuggle LOL.

When I first read some of the reviews before our trip I was a little sceptical. Problems with the elevators, breakfast, rooms but we didn't experience any of those problems during our stay. The elevators worked great every time we wanted to use them, the breakfast was fresh and plentiful and our room was large very nicely decorated, and clean. We were on an upper floor. This hotel is a great value for the money and RIGHT accross the street from the beach and we had friendly chech-in and out service. We stayed here before our cruise to all the islands. We would recommend this hotel to anyone as we are pretty picky on our hotel selections in our travels.

The hotel is a little dated, but was clean, the staff were helpful, but the breakfast in the bag I did not care for, we couldn't find a place to comfortably sit with our meal, so we went down to the beach. We sat down at one of the picnic tables, only to discover a man sleeping under it. In fact, I was surprised to see so many homeless in the area. The valet was very prompt with bringing me our vehicle.

An excellent experience. Room was quiet; clean;well air conditioned; and bath was well tended (in spite of sloppy teens). Beds and pillows very comfortable. All the staff were friendly and responded quickly to requests. The free breakfast each morning from 6:30 'til 8:30 consisted of yogurt, dry cereal,muffins, pastries, cut up melons, papaya, some grapes and pineapple (which caused a feeding frenzy) and constantly replenished. We were given insulated bags so we could eat on the beach or pack extra food for later in the day. The coffee was delicious. A minor downside was each phone call outside the hotel was $* and the computers were * cents per minute. The tour desk was very helpful. Many restaurants within walking distance. At night there were street entertainers. The weather is beautiful and consistent.Driving was easy in spiteof 5 lanes of stop and go traffic. Drivers are safe and courteous to merging traffic. Most speed limits were 35 or 45 mph. If you go the Polynesian center luau is a must do.

Perfect hotel for the price. First off let me talk about the eleveators. We were there in August 2010 On saturday they had an elevator give out and there were two times I had to wait about five minutes for the elevator. But otherwise I never had to wait more than a minute for the elevator the whole time I was there. I like the fact that you have to swipe your card to get to your floor. It made me feel safer and especially my wife feel safer with some many people coming in and out fo the hotel. The breakfast was perfect. It was a continental breakfast for the most part. I loved the miso soup rice misubi and kim chi. They had fresh fruit baked good like crosisants bagels muffins malasadas ceral milk. local flavor yogurts #40lychee haupia papaya etc#41 multiple types of jucies and other things. yeah it kind of was a free for all. We showed up at 6:30 am when it started and it was pretty busy already. But honestly what do you expect at a hotel with free breakfast and 25 floors of guestrooms? I liked the fact we did not have to spend more money on the b-fast in Honolulu. The parkng was 27 each day. I dont know how people could complain about this. Read up on where you are staying people. We didnt have to look for parking which was almost impossoble we called down for our car 15 minutes ahead and it was ready when we came down. Nice. The room was lovely. The king size room was great. the view was great--we had a partial ocean view room. My wife and I loved it. The room was well-celaned each day. The staff was friendly and helpful. No complaints!
