I simply look for a clean room, in a good location for a reasonable price and that's what I received. Much like any other hotel, if you want extras, you will pay for them. They offered free internet but you had to be in the lobby to use it. But then again you're in Hawaii so you don't need too much internet.

Great location: eateries, clean and less crowded beach. They included a breakfast and provided an insulated take out bag to carry it in. Public transportation near by, walk to park and zoo, and aquarium. Walk to nearby hotels for entertainment and shopping. Excellent value for the money. Will go there again....soon!

If you can afford it definetely reserve the Ocean Front rooms they are well worth the money! To wake up every morning and get a whole view of waikiki - It's breath taking! Cost of parking is expensive so if you are planning on staying in Waikiki the whole time just skip the rental car all together and just walk everywhere which is very easy to do. Plus the there is a trolley that comes around every 5 minutes. The staff is really great and helpful and down to earth. Daily breakfast is nice with fresh fruit and juice - get there early though! House keeping staff super nice as well and did a great job all week. Gift shop is expensive so steer clear and walk to the ABC store that is just steps away to the left and another to the right of the hotel. The restarant in the hotel was delicious and there is also a food court type setup on the street level with stuff like subway and cold stone and starbucks at the end of the block. Great location at the end of Waikiki beach so you can still get to everything by walking but if you are like us and want to explore the rest of the island you, you can "escap" easily adn jump on the freeway. Love this Hotel and will be back!

02/07/2011Staff was friendly, breakfast was good. i liked the flexibility of being able to pack it into the cooler they provided and take it back to the room.
