I loved staying at this hotel! It was right across from the beach so really easy to get to the ocean. The hotel was quiet and the bed was great so I slept really well! The free morning breakfast by the pool was fun and good food--we didn't have to buy lunch because breakfast was enough! You can walk to the zoo, aquarium, and all the stores and restaurants in Waikiki, so we didn't need a car. It was easy to book excursions, like a luau or dinner cruise, right from the hotel lobby and the buses pick you up right in front of the hotel . I will definitely stay here again!

This trip to Hawaii in 2010 was great. From the time that I got off the airplane until I returned home. The hotel was very clean. It has a great view from the room and I was able to watch my grandson on the the beach. I felt very safe and comforable. I am disabled and needed to get an electric scooter to get around and they contacted the necessary people to make it happen. The food in the resturant is great. My Grandson really liked the ribs he had them almost everyday. I found the staff very helpful. Know matter who i came in contact with it seemed that they went out of their way to make my stay as pleasent as possible. If I had any concerns they saw that thet were taken care of. If I had the money I would go back and stay at the Aston Waikiki again.

This is a fair hotel. It is not, as advertised, "on the beach". That is why it was chosen for our vacation. It is across the street from the beach and to get to the beach, one has to walk through an assortment of bums who clog the streets with their filth and begging. Unfortunately, my significant other had an accident, tripping on uneven tile, the first morning we were there and broke her pelvis. The hotel manager was unwilling to be of any help to us. The only person on the staff who helped was the director of security and we thank him. Yes, the hotel is clean and presents with great views of the ocean and Diamond Head. We would not recommend this hotel as the neighborhood is disgusting.

My husband and I loved the hotel. They offered breakfast with lots of varieties of fruits and cereals and yogurt, juice, and coffee. There is also a nice Starbucks right around the corner. They offered trips to the local area and were not pushy if you said no!!!

Hotel was in a good location for beach activity. Staff was friendly and very helpful. We enjoyed the small restaurant on the pool level at night, they had a great and fun entertainment band that even offered comedic relief. In the morning they had hula dancers that really added to the experience. the bathrooms are in need of upgrades. Over all I would tell someone who was open to a lively experience, that was on a budget that this is a great value.
