The only bad thing I have to say is that we were unable to check in early. We arrived at 12pm and had to wait to check in until almost 3. However, the hotel staff was right there at the entrance available to lock our bags in the back for us so we didn't have to walk around Waikiki with our luggage while we waited for our room. The room was very clean and updated nicely. Our view was great and we had free "breakfast on the beach". Would have been nice to have free internet/wifi in the room, but it was $9/day and who stays in their room all day to make the $9 of internet worth it??

Friendly staff. Kid friendly beach right across the street, zoo and aquarium within walking distance. Eat at Tiki bar (not the restaurant) better prices, good music, and awesome sunsets. The included breakfast is a nice touch, decent selection and live Hawaiian music and hula dancing. Our view from the 26th floor facing Diamondhead and the ocean was a nice bonus.

We stayed from April 5th thru the 14th. We have previously stayed twice before, 3 and 4 years ago. The quality of the breakfast has gone down hill unfortunately, hot items you have to pay for is one example. We also used to receive 2 bags per room for the "Breakfast on the Beach", now it is only 1 bag and you can purchase more for $5. I assume the economy has hurt everyone. The safe did not work, got it fixed after a couple hours, hairdryer did not work, they brought one to the room . Just little things like this that really made the stay just not as nice as previous stays. The staff is still wonderful ,just the hotel needs updated and the quality of certain things not deserving of a 4 star rating. I dont think we will be back to this hotel.

My husband and I stayed here for our 10 yr wedding anniversary. This hotel isn't the fanciest but it was great for the price. The room was a bit small for a double but the view from our balcony totally made up for it. Oh my goodness, the view was to die for! Totally worth paying a little extra for an ocean view room! We also liked the free continental buffet each morning. The hotel was also right across the street from Waikiki beach which was awesome. I'm ususally a room service kinda girl and unfortunately this hotel doesnt have any BUT since we were in Hawaii we didn't want to stay in the room much anyway. Besides w/o room service we were able to try out the local restaurants and explore the island. Overall great stay!

We really enjoyed the Hawaiian theme and the value price. The staff was very friendly and helpful, rooms were nice, water pressure was good. We really enjoyed the morning breakfast and music. Would recommend and will stay again.
