The staff is very efficient and friendly; check-in/out were a breeze. The hotel is unique in style but I did feel that it was somewhat homey (had the well-worn look) versus an upscaled style that I had expected due to the star rating and cost. I did have a wonderful stay and the views from my waterfront room were spectacular! I do feel the the in-room incidentals were very overpriced and a parking fee of $36.00 per day, really? I guess they feel if you can afford the room price that the incidentals wouldn't matter?? We only used the lot for one night the other nights we were lucky enough to get street parking directly in front of the hotel for much less. We were out for most of the day so the most we spend on the meters was $12 a day and Sunday street parking is free. We also enjoyed the Six Seven Lounge, we had cocktails and appetizers which were delicious. The prices in the lounge were actually similar to every other lounge we had patronized in the downtown area. Overall I had a fabulous time and would stay here again, but I would highly recommend a waterfront view, it's totally worth it! FYI, it's really a hike to hit the nightlife, so either take your car or wear very comfortable shoes. One recommendation, if you like small cafes and jazz, go to the Zig Zag Cafe, the drinks and food were awesome.

  • With this hotel I would recommend you stay in the water side rooms.

Went for our 23rd Annv. , We live in town and have stayed at many hotels in Seattle. We wanted just a quiet easy stay. We wanted to sit in the bar have snacka and drinks, which the staff was great and food was good. We were planning on watching the Sounders before dinner. We were told they wouldnt be showing it in the bar because of March Madness, thats fine. We went up to the room to watch it and have some champagne, but they dont have local channels ...so we ended up spending the rest of our time someplace else for dinner and drinks. We figured we would get room service for breakfast. Breakfast arrived 30min late and cold. We also paid for internet and it worked fine.
