I would highly recommend to anyone to stay at the Rio. Im not sure how well the casino pays out, but the facility is awesome. The staff was awesome. The rooms were awesome, and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. I was there for a convention so I had VERY limited gambling opportunities. I was just too busy to gamble this time. :( I do wish they had a more economical food option, but they have a consistent bus to the strip where I could go and find other options. The food that they provided for the convention was excellent though, but I wanted a cheaper, light meal in the evening and for breakfast and that was not available there. The hotel DID give a $10 coupon for their awesome seafood buffet but i wasnt hungry enoughto eat that much. :) lol... We will definitely return to stay at the Rio in the future. :)

04/14/2011The room had a great view. restaurants had a good variety of foods. staff was very helpful. swimming area was ok. the biggest negative was the smokey smell.

This hotel was at a convient location right next to the strip. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who is going to Las Vegas. The amenties were very good and everything was in good working condition. The room was a great size, the pool was clean. The buffet is to die for, great food at all times, varieties of different foods to accomodate any particular taste. The best time to go to the buffet would be for dinner. The food is phenominal!!! The slots were my bestfriend and the tables were my boyfriends bestfriend as well. The beds and pillows were great, comfortable, especially after a night in Las Vegas. I would recommend this hotel and hope everyone is able to enjoy the hotel as much as I did during my stay!!

The Rio Hotel recently did renovations to convert all rooms into a suite. Let me tell you it is very clean, quiet and comfortable. Large bathroom with 2 different vanity areas. Large closet with mini fridge, bring hangers if you need more than 6. Living area is set up with a love seat and chair as well as a coffee table. There is a desk with free internet access and 2 chairs. The television is enclosed in an armoire with the ability to swivel to any direction. Very comfortable bed, there are 4 pillows on the bed but they are half the size of a normal pillow and if you like flat pillows these are for you. Plus the Rio offers a shuttle service for all who stay at their hotel to the stripe free of charge. Overall I had a great experience and would stay again in the future.
