We enjoyed the stay, nice clean, large room, but wanted just an appetizer or something lighter to eat when we arrived. Went to the All American Bar & Grill. It was a very casual, diner like feel, but nothing was diner like priced. Everything exceeded $10 and a steak was $45. I'll gladly pay $45 for a good steak at a chop house, but a B&G? On a positive note, the pool was fantastic. 108 degrees, great bar staff, lots of fun, a separate area for adults only.

07/04/2012I walked in to a 'freshly' cleaned room and there was a plastic bag taped over my smoke detector that obviously housekeeping didn't see. i called and they said ...
I walked in to a 'freshly' cleaned room and there was a plastic bag taped over my smoke detector that obviously housekeeping didn't see. I called and they said they would come remove it. They never did. It fell on the floor and they threw it away the next day. 4 days into my stay there was a beer bottle cap next to the couch. I never had a beer in that room so housekeeping missed that. Yes they tell you they have coffee in the rooms. Had a nice Keurig but you had to buy the coffee out of the stocked mini bar in the room. 3 cups for $8. No thanks........Starbucks got my business every morning. Breakfast buffet didn't open until 8 which I felt was late in vegas. Pool opened at 9 which was nice but then closed at 7. Would love to do some nighttime swimming. Not allowed water out there but you can BUY some from them and then take it.

I stayed at the rio rooms very clean. staff very nice, buffet is the best in Vegas. Shuttle always on time. Best value hotel for your money and very good free shuttle service. Would stay t again. Needs new paint and led tvs for a 4 star hotel
