I traveled with my 13-year-old daughter for business this year and the room was very nice. This was my second stay for business purposes. The shuttle to and from the strip is very convenient and drivers were always very friendly. Felt very safe in this hotel. Will recommend.

The Rio is a beautiful hotel. I love the price, comfort, and overall scenic views inside and outside the hotel. Every time I think about Las Vegas, Rio Hotel instantly comes to my mind. I enjoy taking the several shuttles that are offered to take us back and forth from the main Las Vegas strip. The shuttles just make it easier to get back and forth and no worrying about driving or parking. I had a phenomenal experience in Las Vegas and staying at the Rio Hotel made it all the better. I will definitely return and stay again and again!

Delayed flight getting into Las Vegas...tough. Chatty taxi driver...annoying. Packed wrong shoes...figures. Wheel breaks on luggage... what'a drag. Good evening, welcome to the RIO....thank you for the sincere greeting and the wonderful stay, the difference that a smile makes in ones troubled travel is wonderous. I was only at the RIO for one evening...what a wonderful time it was for sure. One of the few resorts where I have received more smiles than I gave. Room was comfortable and welcoming. I need not leave for anything. Ahhh what a nice time to deal with business meetings. Thank you for the work you do...I appreciate the effort.

The Rio is the cream of the crop. From the large rooms to the fantastic Carnival Buffet, it just doesn't get any better. Game play at the tables is fun, and the attendant crew is friendly, and makes an effort to get to know you. Top shelf liquor is served, and for those of us that enjoy a good single malt, it is on the house. Food is simply put, incredible. All of the restaurants offer large portions of delicious entrees, but the gem to me is the Carnival World Buffet, rated Best in Las Vegas for the past decade. My only gripe with my entire visit was that the pool and spa facilities close at 6:00pm. For me, a trip to the hot tubs is far more suited to 11:00 pm, when the sun has set and the temperature has dropped to below 110! (Seriously, who wants to sit in a hot tub when the sun is high and the temperature is over 100?) Would I stay at the Rio again? Absolutely! Would I recommend the Rio to others? Absolutely! Oh, one other item of note. Many of the properties in Vegas charge you an "amenity" fee, which is mandatory, and non-negotiable. The fee varies but can be upwards of $10 per day whether used, or needed. This fee allows internet access, local phone, safe in room use, etc. The Rio is one of the few properties that does not assess such a fee, and yet another reason I like them.

  • Great value with large rooms.

I love to stay at the Rio. It is off of the strip but the complimentary shuttle sevice is great. The rooms have a great sitting area so that you don't feel like you are cramped in a small space. The staff was curteous and knowledgable. I was there for a fabric trade show. The fall show is at another resort but we stay at the Rio because of the value.
