The Rio Hotel hosted the first large reunion of Viet Nam vets from the 553rd Recon Wing. Everything about the event was excellent. I cannot say enough good things about the hotel staff and facilities to adequately express our total happiness with the event.

Stayed at the Rio for a family birthday/mini-reunion. Great place. Excellent value, they have room specials all the time. I expected to pay more (and would have) for the large, clean, comfortable room I got. Thanks to the Rio, my whole trip was way under budget. Spectacular pools, excellent food, great entertainment, easy check-in/out, quick and easy access to The Strip and a free airport shuttle (very convenient). "Where did you stay?" The Rio, no question.

The RIO is a bit dated, but I go to Vegas to enjoy some music shows and to hang out by the pool. The RIO's pool is great, food & drinks at poolside bar are also good. We also ate at the Voodoo restaurant at the top of the hotel. Food and service were nice and view was terrific.

Our room was very clean, and very large, with a full size couch and a large vanity area in addition to the bathroom. It was a great value for the low price. We called housekeeping once for extra blankets, and they were delivered quickly. I dropped a shopping bag while in the casino, and security made every effort to ensure that I got it back. Check in and check out was efficient, and there was very little wait for the elevators.
