We come to Vegas at least once a year and EVERY time we stay at the Rio because of the rooms, casino and food. No other hotel on the strip can beat the value and service we get at the Rio!

We went to the Rio in Las Vegas on our honeymoon.. It was my first trip to Las Vegas, I must say that the Rio was very welcoming and lively. The atmosphere was jumping and the show in the sky was entertaining and eye popping. It was close to down town which made it very convenient if i wanted to sight see . The Rio had lots of shops and places to eat , the food was delicious and the prices were reasonable. At night we would return to the room and it was very cozy and comfortable with a couch and mini bar and a wonderful decor, the bed was plush and the bathroom was a beautiful and bright.. we never got to enjoy the pool because there were so many other things to do inside the casino, but over all i must rate the Rio a 10, i Will be returning in the future.

Location is kind of out of the way. There is transport available @ no extra cost. No Resort fees, but they get their money in other ways. Such as costly wifi and no computer access without cost for your boarding passes upon departure. Five dollars to use the computer and another 50 cents per page to print. Minimum table fees of $10 per hand for blackjack that went up to $15 in the evening. For being "off the strip" it seemed a little unreasonable.

Huge, yet lots of cozy spots for eating and drinking. An amazing collection of bars, restaurants and gaming areas all under one enormous roof. Colorful, vibrant and fun. The very best part was a delicious steak dinner, plus drinks and dancing on the 51st floor Voodoo Lounge. Great view of the strip. The rooftop dance floor was unique and inspiring. Easy access to the strip and the freeway. And all without those nasty, daily resort fees tacked on to the room price. Very nice.
